This calculator finds the percentage grade and its equivalent letter grade from the total test questions and wrong answers.
The following formula is used:
Grade (%) = ((Test Questions - Wrong Answers) ÷ Test Questions) × 100
Find the grade (%) for:
Apply the values in the formula:
= ((32 - 5) ÷ 32) × 100
= (27 ÷ 32) × 100
= 0.84375 × 100
= 84%
Calculate the grade (%) for:
= ((70 - 18) ÷ 70) × 100
= (52 ÷ 70) × 100
= 0.7428 × 100
= 74%
